"Cultivating Intelligence"
International Conference on Agriculture 2026
About the Conference
We are delighted to invite you to the Fourth International Conference on Agriculture-Centric Computation (ICA 2026), hosted by IIT Ropar, Punjab, India. The inaugural ICA was held at IIT Ropar in May 2023, with selected papers published in Springer CCIS.
Since then, ICA has established itself as a premier platform for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers exploring the transformative role of computation and system architectures in agriculture.
ICA 2026 emphasizes agriculture-centric computations and system architectures as the foundation for creating interoperable, scalable, and sustainable digital agriculture ecosystems.
The Three Levels of
Scientific Scope
Agriculture is increasingly shaped by computational models, system architectures, and knowledge representations operating across multiple levels.
Activity Level
Computations and architectures for individual farming tasks, including IoT sensing, drone navigation, computer vision for crop monitoring, and secure on-farm data sharing.
Process Level
Computational frameworks and architectures that enhance cultivation, optimize supply chains, integrate agriculture ontologies, and enable secure and trusted information exchange.
Ecosystem Level
Large-scale simulations, architectures for food security and climate adaptation, federated data ecosystems, and knowledge bases supporting collaboration, governance, and resilience.
Call for Scientific Papers
We invite authors to submit original research papers, tutorials, and demos on agriculture-centric computation, architectures, and knowledge systems. All accepted papers will be published in Springer Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS).
